FeynMed July 2026 Update
July gave the FeynMed team a mix of quietly driving our various projects forward, spending time with family, and fighting with water finding its way into our lives in ways we never anticipated.
A highlight in July was a visit by Councillor Thu Parmar and others (Ally McIntosh and Nicole Pearson) from the City of Edmonton. As a former pharmacist, Councillor Parmar was very interested in our technology. It was cool watching her get back to her science roots. She was very engaged and inquisitive. A highlight was hearing about her decision to run for council.

Patricia and Jason also got the word that they've been accepted into the University of Alberta's Venture Mentoring Service. This program, which was brought to the UofA by renowned Edmonton entrepreneur and booster Ray Muzyka from MIT, is designed to help entrepreneurs and founders develop as leaders. We've found the whole VMS team very welcoming and thoughtful. Several folks connected to the VMS program have already contributed to our success and we are excited to get started in August.
We hope everybody has a wonderful August! If you know somebody who should be reading this newsletter, please pass it to them.
